And it’s a girl!
Author: MikeYep, you heard right. For those who haven’t heard, we’re going to be having a little girl in Feb. We were both hoping for a boy, but we’re still happy that we’re having a girl. Best part is, we already have a name picked out. Her name is Claire Madison Hillyard. And wow, it just hit me hard seeing her name actually typed out. I’ve said the name to myself a few times before, but it didn’t ever hit me. Guess some things you just have to see for yourself. I can’t wait to actually hold her for the first time. And then again, I’m scared. I just don’t know what it’s going to be like to be a father. I sometimes ask myself if I’m really ready for this or not. Then again, who really is when the time comes. So many questions and concerns, and yet, so many things to look forward to. Guess it’s also time to start thinking about personal protection for my new family. A 1911 .45 acp is sounding quite nice for that area.
